3D glass generator
Pick a shape and it comes back in glass, with bright edges and the backdrop bent through it. Change the glass, the light and the angle, then save a picture or a loop.
It opens on Amethyst, a violet glass crystal. The picture is its Photoreal export, which you turn on under Export.

Glass shapes
A picture marked Photoreal is the editor's Photoreal export. Its link opens the same settings in the real-time view, which renders glass darker; turn on Photoreal under Export and Save gives the picture shown.

How the glass is lit
Glass shows what is around it, so most of a glass picture is light: the room the glass sits in draws its bright edges, and whatever is behind it shows through, bent by the shape.
Change the material and the same shape turns to frosted glass, ice, amber, smoke, emerald or a soap-film bubble. Change the shape and the glass follows: a heart, a knot, a crystal, a word, or your own logo as an SVG.
For a still, turn on Photoreal in the Export panel on a computer. It traces the light bounce by bounce, so the glass refracts what is behind it. Six of the pictures here were made that way, each in 20 seconds to two minutes on our Mac.
Save a PNG or render a loop that plays with no jump. It all runs in your browser tab, with no account.
